Jurassic World Evolution 3 Confirmed For 2025: ‘Life Finds A Way’

There are very few things that get me excited quite like a great management sim. From classics like Theme Hospital and The Movies, to newer titles like Two Point Museum and Planet Coaster — sitting down for a few hours and building a well-oiled machine is my idea of a great Saturday.

So, imagine my excitement when I was watching Summer Game Fest, to see Jurassic World Evolution 3 announced. I’m more eager than a Pachycephalosaurus chowing down on a plate of fibrous plants and fruit.

The Jurassic World Evolution franchise has been loosely telling the story of the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World films, shifting from park management to dinosaur conservation and experimental biology.

Taking a look at the new trailer for Jurassic World Evolution 3, it looks like the new title is leaning into park management again, as we see clusters of park-goers wandering around taking happy snaps of dino-displays.

Baby Dinos!?

A big part of the trailer shows off baby dinosaurs as well as the usual larger — and more chompy — adults. As was a huge part of the Jurassic Park films, the dinosaurs learning to reproduce on their own is what helps them find their way in the new world. In previous titles, dinosaurs are only reproduced directly from DNA injected into eggs and released at full size. Long story short — baby dinosaurs. Hell yes.

Another big part of Jurassic World Evolution 2 was genetic modification, and it seems we’ll see this system expanded in Jurassic World Evolution 3. The trailer shows a triceratops with different customisable head plates, whether these are cosmetic or have some gameplay element is yet to be seen.

Similarly, the environments look much more varied than previous titles, with an amazing-looking Mediterranean archipelago on display. In previous titles you’ve been tasked with sending extraction teams around the globe to collect samples and bring them back to your park. But seeing the variety of environments on display looks amazing.

We’ll hopefully find out more as we edge closer to the October 21st release date for Steam, Epic, PlayStation and Xbox.
