Guide: How To Unlock The Train In Big Walk

Here at Quest Daily, we’ve been loving Big Walk and all the hilarious moments it has to offer. From the quirky characters dozing off mid-conversation, to stumbling around in total darkness and the creative puzzles requiring creative solutions, there’s so much to experience with your squad.

Big Walk isn’t called Big Walk for no reason: there’s a lot of walking. Luckily, it isn’t the only way to get around the huge island. If walking isn’t your thing, or your feet are starting to hurt from all getting stuck on those rocks (you know the ones), this guide will help you unlock the train.

Puzzle Solution: How To Unlock The Train In Big Walk

As you make your way around the island, you’ll notice what looks like railway stations and train tracks. After pressing every button you can see, your excitement fades when you realise it needs power to run.

All trains are cancelled today and bus replacements are not available.

The key to powering the train is hidden away in the blue tower. This tower, along with the other colourful towers, is accessible in the greater area after you cross the red bridge.

On the map, the tower can be found at 35:18, approximately north east of the base at 37:11.

It’s not that far away, right?

The Rule of Five

To unlock the key, players need to collect five of the red prizes dispensed from completing puzzles, exactly like the ones from the starting area. There’s no rule as to which puzzles you complete as any of the red prizes on the island will qualify.

Whether you choose to bring all five prizes to the tower at once, or drop one or two off at a time, is up to you and your squad size.

Inside the blue tower, head upstairs to the rooftop and you will see the cases to place the prizes in.

Just one more to go.

Once you have placed all five prizes, the key comes out. Take this key to the blue key cutting stations located around the base of the tower, following the directions of the arrows to ensure you’re going the right way.

We highly recommend a key ritual for good vibes.

Here Comes The Train

Follow the red tracks nearby and take the finished key to the train station to insert it into the keyhole. Finally, don’t forget to jump on as the train comes towards you.

Don’t worry, it’s not as fast as a Shinkansen or a V-Line!

From here, you can ride the train in a loop to your desired destination. Wishing you a safe journey on behalf of the Big Walk Railway Line!
