A brand-new metroidvania is on the horizon from French developer Douze-Dixièmes, and it’s one you’ll want to keep an eye on. Mio: Memories in Orbit premiered its new trailer at Summer Game Fest, and it is absolutely mesmerising.
You’re a tiny robot on a big adventure, dodging traps, battling enemies and uncovering a strange world. While the trailer was brief, it showcased a colourful array of environments, shifting from whimsical to dark and atmospheric in a heartbeat.

Though no official release date has been confirmed, Mio: Memories in Orbit is expected to launch later this year. The good news? A free demo on Steam is available for those eager to jump in — I know what I will be doing this weekend!
Mio: Memories in Orbit will release on PC via Steam and Xbox Series X|S.
