It’s another massive month of video game releases! Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Minecraft Legends, and Dead Island 2 – just to name a few.
Here are some of the biggest and best games releasing this April:
Wildfrost
This cartoonish deck-builder will have you crafting a deck of powerful cards to aid in your quest to thaw the world from a crushing permafrost.
After each run in this rogue-like, you’ll return to the hub town of Snowdell, which you’ll need to expand upon to unlock more cards, challenges and events.
Wildfrost is releasing on April 12 for Nintendo Switch and Steam.
Disney Speedstorm
The hero-based battle-racer, Disney Speedstorm, is launching into ealy access on April 18.
The game features amazing courses like the door-filled world of Monsters Inc. and epic power ups like mines and lightning boosts.

Minecraft Legends
Minecraft Legends is a new action strategy game set within the Minecraft universe. This huge new game from Mojang Studios and Xbox Game Studios is set to be released on April 18 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores (DLC)
The first major DLC for Horizon Forbidden West is coming this month. Burning Shores will see Alloy travel to the ruins of Los Angeles, now devastated by thousands of years of volcanic activity. We’re really excited about this one!
It is worth noting that to take part in this DLC, you’ll need to finish Horizon Forbidden West’s main story. The Burning Shores DLC is coming to PlayStation 5 on April 19.
Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster
Experience the first six Final Fantasy games once more, lovingly updated with gorgeous but faithful 2D pixel art.
They can be bought separately or as a collection, from the PlayStation and Nintendo digital storefronts on April 19th.

Dead Island 2
Close to 10 years since it was first announced, Dead Island 2 is about to land! The city of Hell-A has been overrun by flesh-tearing zombies and you must find a way out. Choose to play from a variety of different characters, craft deadly weapons and hack, slash, and shoot your way to refuge in the hills of Hollywood.
Dead Island 2 is created by Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios and is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC on April 21.

The Last Case of Benedict Fox
Play as Benedict Fox, a paranormal detective bound to a demon companion, and dive into a twisted world of secret organisations, forbidden rituals and cold-blooded murders!
The Lovecraftian metroidvania has a wonderful art-style, with fast and frenetic combat that has a focus on melee attacks and demonic powers.
The Last Case of Benedict Fox releases on April 27 for Xbox and PC.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
It’s one of the most anticipated video games of the year, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the sequel to 2019’s hugely successful Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The game is set five years after Fallen Order and sees Cal Kestis at full Jedi Knight potential as he’s pushed to the edge of the galaxy by the Empire.
If you want to fill in the gaps between games then you could read the Star Wars Jedi: Battle Scars novel by Sam Maggs.
It’s coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Fans of the series can look forward to getting their hands on Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on April 28.
