Some egg-cellent ways to spend the Easter break

After eating your body weight in chocolate and collapsing on the couch this holiday, you MIGHT still have the energy to play a few video games.

If you’re keen for more Easter fun, check out these in-game events celebrating bunny day.

Fortnite

Fortnite has a stack of “Spring Breakout Quests”, all themed around Easter. Collect eggs, chase chickens, and dress up like a bunny all while shooting down groups of people with assault rifles… If that doesn’t scream Easter I don’t know what does! There’s also a bunch of new Easter inspired skins available in the store.

Disney Dreamlight Valley

Spring has come to the valley with the Eggstravaganza event. There’ll be a mammoth egg hunt with Wild Spring Eggs hidden around the world, you’ll be able to plant Spring V-EGG-etables in your garden, and collect Egg-cellent Fruit. 
There’ll also be Daily and Weekly quests involving crafting, collecting and even chasing rabbits.
The event will run until April 29th.

Two Point Campus

Schools might be on break in real life but at the Two Point Campus, Easter is in full swing!
Get your students hunting for oval shaped treasures in the Egg & Silver-Spoon Race.
Give your campus a bit of a spring clean with the new Easter themed cosmetic items.
And of course there’s plenty of bunny ear costumes for everyone!

Final Fantasy XIV

You still have a little bit of time to join the festivities in Final Fantasy 14. Collect eggs, scare off Sylphs and snag yourself some loot! Up for grabs is a ‘Frighten’ emote, Tonberry attire, furnishings and a new orchestrion roll.

Albion Online

Spring has sprung in Albion Online with the Rites of Spring event.
Open special chests, gather seasonal items and hatch Cottontail Eggs.
Once fully grown, your Spring Cottontail will can be mounted and ridden through the lands.
Albion’s merchants will also be selling seasonal wares such as the Eggsecutioner weapon, and Bunny Stalker wardrobe items.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Keep an eye out for colourful eggs hidden around your island, as ‘Bunny Day’ hops into Animal Crossing: New Horizons once more.
Zipper T. Bunny will be making a special appearance on everyone’s islands on Sunday and Nook’s Cranny will also have Bunny Day items for sale for a limited time.

Grand Theft Auto Online

In classic GTA fashion, you can currently find and eat peyote cactus in GTA Online, that will send you down a psychedelic rabbit hole… no really, you’ll turn into a rabbit! Happy Easter I guess?

New World

The plague of corrupted rabbits has returned to the lands of Aeternum once more.

Between April 12 and 25, explosions of cuddly killers will ambush you as you hunt for event-specific loot, including a particularly disturbing bunny mask!
