In Thursday’s Humble Games Showcase, Studio Pixanoh dropped a new trailer for Town of Zoz, an action RPG where you play as a young shaman-chef-adventurer (slap that on your LinkedIn) returning home to help the family restaurant. Harvesting and cooking in a game? SOLD!

While the animation style is not my usual cup of tea, the gameplay mechanics totally are. Town of Zoz’s trailer showed gameplay reminiscent of Shin-chan: Shiro and the Coal Town, except with monsters, fighting, and… churrasco?

I particularly enjoyed the sneak peek of the menu, which seems very Brazilian barbeque / South-American-esque. Yum. Also killing chickens to make Taco de Pollo? Cool. From its description, you can also give dishes to townsfolk to improve your relationships — very Hello Kitty Island Adventure.
