1:16 — Big Pax Walk

Look who Elena, Dan and Sonia found on their Big Pax Walk!

1:31 — New games, classic vibes

Weavemarch has pulled Nathanael straight back into the world of Warcraft 3 mods. It’s a lane defense game with awesome little woven units battling for control between two towers. There’s a heap of tactical depth. Currently there are five different races to choose from, and you can play up to 3v3 with 5,000 units on screen at once! There’s a Steam demo going live next month, with launch planned for early 2027.

1:34 — The ROG booth is where the Street Fighter action is!

2:09 — We can’t get enough of the tabletop!

Nathanael checked out Crayne Fractured Empire, it’s a high fantasy deck building game where up to six players create armies from eight factions. It’s very easy to get your brain around, collect cards and battle other players. The art is amazing, and the different factions play very differently. The orcs Nathanael was recruiting summon reinforcements and blow up other cards when you summon them.

2:14 — Claim your day lounge…

The QD team are checking out the upcoming Nintendo Switch Sports Resort at PAX Aus. Thumb wars incoming!

2:19 — Friendly rivalry among the QD team

Ping Pong on Wuhu Island! Sonia and Tim, our two competitors fighting it out.

2:27 — Another indie we can’t get enough of

2:50 — Who has perfect aim, Sonia or Tim? Let’s just say we wouldn’t want to be in their way!

3:39 — Panels, panels, panels

5:27 — We ain’t done yet

Deathbed is a very cool competitive card game where players compete for the throne after the last king died. It uses a standard layout of playing cards, and you must undermine your opponents by playing the same sneaky tactics as them, while preserving your own highest scoring cards. Great risk verses reward gameplay!

6:03 — Our final tabletop update

6:10 — That’s all folks!

That’s us done for the day, we hope everyone has as great a day as we did!
