I never thought I’d want to play a musical game, but the latest trailer for Billie Bust Up changed that! The annoyingly catchy tune paired up perfectly with the rhythm-based battles that test your reflexes in time with the beat.
Described as a 3D platformer inspired by animated films, Billie Bust Up puts you in the hooves of Billie, a goat on a mission to reclaim powerful magic.
During gameplay, you’ll need to pay close attention to the actual song lyrics as they’ll hint at upcoming attacks, which is a genius mechanic… Unless you’re like my husband, who never listens to lyrics!

The music will also adapt to the way you play (whaaat), with each song bringing a different gameplay experience, which I find wild. Some next-level design on display from Giddy Goat Games (yes, that’s their real name).
It looks like a wild ride — equal parts mesmerising and rage-inducing (for the rhythmically challenged).
