Video games releasing in November 2026

It’s finally here, November. The biggest, most anticipated video game in history releases this month, along with remakes of two of the most beloved games of all time. Grand Theft Auto VI, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and World of Warcraft: Forever take the spotlight in a month most other games have tried to avoid.

Here are our most anticipated games releasing in November 2026:

World of Warcraft: Forever

Step back into Azeroth in World of Warcraft: Forever. The partial-remake gives a fresh coat of paint to the original WoW that has enthralled so many gamers for so long; with upgraded lighting and graphics, enhanced gameplay, and new and expanded zones.

The MMORPG boasts over 1000 additional quests, as well as new dungeons and race/class combos. Though the new Skyborne race and Zephras Isle starting area aren’t included in the subscription required to play the game, but with an additional content pack purchase.

World of Warcraft: Forever launches on November 4th for PC and Mac via the battle.net launcher.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Hey, listen! The game that defined a generation has been completely remade for the Nintendo Switch 2. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time takes players back to Hyrule in a beautifully recrafted world, with updated visuals, controls and cinematics.

While it’s shaping up to be a faithful remake — the same game players experienced back in 1998 — that doesn’t make it any less exciting. The real question is: does it all hold still together with nostalgia primed paint?

We’ll find out come November 5th, when The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time comes to Switch 2.

Horses of Hoofprint Bay

You like horses? November’s got horses! Equestrian management sim, Horses of Hoofprint Bay, puts players in charge of their own stud-farm, where horses are bred, raised, and trained for show. It’s all rendered in lovingly hand-drawn 2D art that oozes cosy.

You start with a ramshackle plot of land, and develop it into the ranch of your dreams. Competing in show jumping and cross country tournaments earns money to upgrade your homestead, allowing for better rearing and training for future tournaments. You can even hire stablehands to help you.

And of course you can groom, pamper, and bond with your horses too.

Horses of Hoofprint Bay races onto PC on November 5th.

TANUKI: Pon’s Summer

A Tanuki. A Tanuki riding a BMX. A Tanuki riding a BMX whilst delivering mail… It’s a tale as old as time. TANUKI: Pon’s Summer puts you in the paws of Pon, a Tanuki postie, as he bikes around an open-world transporting packages and hitting sick jumps and tricks along the way. Keep Pon busy with side activities like playing baseball, making sushi, wrestling a sumo, and drumming on a Nagado-daiko.

The Ghibli vibes are strong with this one, looking like a cosy mash-up of Pom Poko and Mat Hoffman’s Pro BMX (yes, that’s the only BMX game I know). Help Pon restore the local shrine on an idyllic Japanese island — in time for the Tanuki Festival — which you can rebuild and decorate to your own penchant.

TANUKI: Pon’s Summer releases on November 10th for consoles and PC.

Grand Theft Auto VI

It’s kind of hard to believe, but after more than a decade of waiting, Grand Theft Auto VI is finally smashing its way into our living rooms and stealing our hearts. With a budget of well over a Billion dollars, fans are expecting great things from Rockstar’s biggest franchise.

With a rumoured 200+ main missions, the sprawling open world of Vice City, and near photorealistic graphics, it might just be the most ambitious video game ever made. VI will also have the first playable female protagonist in a mainline GTA game.

Get ready to rob a store, shoot a gun and steal a jet as Grand Theft Auto VI chews up 210GB of console space on November 19th.

Volvy’s Adventure: Reslimed

Now for what can only be described as the REAL biggest release of the month… Volvy’s Adventure: Reslimed. According to Devolver Digital, this is a remaster of a remake that never actually released… Go figure!

The 2D action platformer channels classic Sonic, with its retro-inspired pixel-art and energetic gameplay. Volvy has a fistful of abilities that take him across four unique worlds; hover, grind and burrow to help save Volvy’s friends… All while battling it out with slime and warlocks.

Volvy’s Adventure: Reslimed is coming to PC on November 20th.
