The reveal trailer was a blast from the past, radiating pure teenagerhood energy — especially with that booming early 2000s voiceover. You know the one!

As three friends head to their final party together before their lives change forever, a perfectly curated playlist takes the trio into dreamlike reenactments of their formative memories.
It’s all in the title — Mixtape is bringing the heat with songs from Joy Division, Devo, The Smashing Pumpkins, Lush, Iggy Pop and more!

Players will explore the pivotal moments that shaped these characters and immerse themselves in activities like skateboarding, flying, taking photos at an abandoned theme park and releasing fireworks from a moving car.

Developers Beethoven & Dinosaur describe it as “the greatest hits of the teenage experience, from the first kiss to the last dance.”. This third person adventure will take players on a retrospective journey that might even offer its own journey of reflection.
Mixtape is coming at some point this year to PC, Xbox and PlayStation. We’ll certainly be keeping an eye out for more on this one.
