There’s many puzzles to solve in Resident Evil Requiem, but some of them require a little more exploration than others.
Spoilers ahead.
Inside the Raccoon City Police Department (or what’s left of it), you’ll come across a locked briefcase in the storeroom of the old STARS office.
There’s not much here to explain what the briefcase is or what the code could be — but stay with me.
The briefcase requires a three letter code to unlock. Now, if you really wanted to… you could try to force it. But there’s over 17,000 three letter combinations in the english language and you’d be here for a very long time.
Instead, allow me to help you uncover the secret.

A letter in the captain’s desk highlights some library books the team has borrowed, and it notes that Albert Wesker took out a particular book named: Medicinal Benefits of Herbs — and was the last to do so.
You best find it.
Heading to the Library, make your way up to the second level above the shelves and cross the walkway. To the right of the closed door, you’ll find the book Medicinal Benefits of Herbs on the shelf.
After discovering the book in the library, open it and you’ll find a photo of STARS newest basketball team member: Rebecca Chambers.

Picking up the image and flipping it over will show the words: “Rising Rookie Rebecca”.
Taking those words, we can decipher that the code could be RRR. And it is.
The code for the briefcase is: RRR
What’s inside the briefcase?

Inside the briefcase you’ll find an incredibly powerful charm for Leon’s Requiem: Power Shades Charm — a tribute to Wesker.
With this charm equipped, bullets now have limitless penetration. Also the last bullet in the chamber will pack an extra punch.
