If you’re heading down to Melbourne for PAX Aus the next day, the timing of this one couldn’t be better.
What’s on show at MIGW’s Big Games Night Out?
The lineup is huge, with a Cosplay Parade hosted by Myf Warhust and pop star/Twitch streamer Montaigne. There’ll also be live music and performances, games arcades, and even a little something from Cult of the Lamb: The Ritual.

The Cult of the Lamb set up will feature large-scale puppets, performers, and giant animated projections of characters from the beloved game.
There’s so much more and the full program will be announced soon, but so far the line up looks great.
I’m eager to check out the intergenerational arena where young and mature gamers can meet, game together, and bond over their love of games. I expect this to be a special feature of the night because gaming is for everyone, no matter your age.
I am also eager to check out the Stray Gods Fashion Showcase where eight Melbourne fashion designers will showcase character costumes from the homegrown game, Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical.
You can visit the Games Week website to learn more and if you want to sign up for the cosplay parade (which you should totally do if you love cosplay, no matter your skill level) then you can register here.
