It’s June — AKA Hump Month — and with it comes new games both big and small. We’ve got ankle breaking streetball, barrel rolls, train X-games and much more.
It’s also showcase season, so stay glued to Quest Daily for all our coverage on Summer Game Fest and the surrounding events.
Here are our most anticipated games releasing in June 2026:
NBA THE RUN
NBA fans, this one might finally scratch that NBA Street itch. NBA THE RUN is all about ridiculous dunks, ankle breakers, lockdown defence and fast-paced streetball action — the kind of arcade basketball experience we haven’t seen in years.
Its main mode, Run the World, is a four-round knockout tournament where teams of three battle across courts around the globe. Players can also jump into squad play with mates, tackle solo modes, and host private tournaments with up to 48 players at launch.
More than 30 NBA stars have already been confirmed for launch, alongside five fictional streetball legends.
NBA THE RUN launches on June 10th for PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
Voidling Bound
Voidling Bound combines creature collection with Avatar (the blue one) science; you hatch and grow ‘voidlings’, before jacking into their consciousness to battle swarms of blighted aliens and reclaim corrupted planets.
Through DNA splicing you can shape each creatures’ evolutionary path; boosting attributes, unlocking new abilities and elemental affinities, as well as changing their appearance. While liberating planets you can find more eggs to hatch, and even breed your creatures to create more powerful variations.
The sci-fi third person shooter is the first game from indie developers Hatchery Games, which was founded by ex-Skylanders and Borderlands developers, so there’s a certain ‘creature-collector/chaotic battle’ pedigree there.
Voidling Bound is out on June 10th for PC, with console versions in the works for a later date.

Denshattack!
Have you ever wondered what it’d be like to drive a train like a skateboard, grinding rails, and flipping between tracks? No? Well Denshattack! brings that particularly niche fantasy to life in eye-popping anime style!
Behind the controls of the ludicrous locomotive, you barrel down railway lines, drifting and dodging obstacles to get to the end of each level. Style points are earned as you go by performing aerial flips, tricks, and landings.
It’s wacky and over the top, with rewarding level design, and buckets of fun to be had. Check out our preview from earlier this year.
Denshattack! releases on the 17th of June for PlayStation 5, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and XBOX Series X|S.
The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales
Fantasy action-adventure The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales follows Elliot and his fairy companion on their quest to lift a curse from the continent of Philabieldia, that has them time-hopping to different ages over a thousand years!
The game is inspired by the RPG storytelling and real-time action combat of the Mana series, like Final Fantasy Adventure, and uses the gorgeous HD-2D visual style that Team Asano has become known for. Elliot can wield seven types of weapons that can be customised with combinations of magicite to change up their utility.
There’s a chunky demo out now you can try before the full release on June 19th on PlayStation 5, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and XBOX Series X|S.

Dark Scrolls
Dark Scrolls pays homage to classic auto-scrolling shoot-em-ups like Contra, while cranking up the chaos way past 11. Chunky 16-bit visuals and chiptune sound effects give the co-op action platformer a retro arcade flair, with ungodly amounts of enemies and projectiles causing pure bedlam onscreen.
You choose from nine different playable heroes, run through a shifting selection of hand-crafted levels, while hacking & slashing through minions and bosses alike. Collected coins can be spent at the shop between runs, to purchase new perks and attacks for your characters.
Developers Doinksoft recently delayed Dark Scrolls to avoid clashing with the release of Mina the Hollower — smart move. It’s now coming to PC and Nintendo Switch on June 22nd.
Star Fox
We’re finally getting a new Star Fox game… Sort of. Simply titled Star Fox, this remake (of a remake) retains the iconic stage layouts of Star Fox 64 and missions fans remember while completely overhauling the visuals.
Fox McCloud, Slippy, Peppy and Falco have all received updated designs, with new cutscenes helping bring the team back to life. Players can look forward to new game modes, multiplayer, quality-of-life improvements, and even mouse controls for aiming.
Star Fox launches for Nintendo Switch 2 on June 25th.
