With a unique art style and heartwarming story, South of Midnight is dripping with charm and personality. In a new trailer shown at the recent Xbox Showcase, it was revealed that this is a third-person action-adventure game.
The gameplay teaser opens with our hero, Hazel, riding atop a giant mythical creature. Instantly, South of Midnight’s stop motion-styled cut scenes are on show. Xbox is calling this a modern folktale that is set in a grim and fantastical portrayal of the American Deep South.

Hazel is thrown into a mythical world when a hurricane rips through her hometown of Prospeco. Here, she finds that reality and fantasy are interwoven when legendary creatures begin to emerge.
