At the Xbox Showcase, Bethesda Game Studios announced the launch date for Fallout 76’s highly anticipated update, Skyline Valley, set to arrive on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation on June 12th.
This expansion marks the first major addition to the game’s world map, inviting players to cross the Savage Divide and venture into the southern reaches of Appalachia.

Players will uncover the mysteries of Vault 63, including the enigmatic Lost—electric Ghouls inhabiting the Vault—and their overseer, Hugo Stolz. An electrical storm looms over Skyline Valley, setting the stage for the new Public Event, Dangerous Pastimes, where players will chase storms and battle new region bosses, a trio of formidable Robo-brains.

Excitedly, 2025 also brings a pleasant surprise. Players will be given the option to play as a ghoul character. This will not be an option upon initial character creation. However, a choice at level 50 will trigger a new quest beginning the mysterious process.
