Six One Indie Showcase 2026 | Our Top Picks

Six One Indie have just had their summer showcase for 2026, showing off — you guessed it — sixty one games! There was plenty to excite gamers of all inclinations, and my wishlist just got a whole lot fatter.

Here are our top five picks from the showcase.

Graytail

Graytail gives off horror-thriller 2D Zelda vibes, as you explore a mysterious island, searching for a missing pilot. Solve physics-driven puzzles, collect clues, question the locals, and unravel the secrets of the isle.

You’ll battle monsters and bosses with weapons like umbrellas and crossbows, there’s a motorbike to ride around between the various regions, and it’s all brought to life in a glorious 2.5D pixel art!

Currently set to release in the first half of 2027, Graytail is one I’ll be keeping a close eye on!

Grave Seasons

Grave Seasons is a cosy narrative farming sim that fills your day with fishing, mining, tending to crops, and hunting down a brutal serial killer that’s slaughtering people… Wait, WHAT!?

The town is plagued by a supernatural killer, and it could be any one of the residents there! To solve the murder mystery and get back to the simple farm life, you’ll need to hunt for clues — which may involve some light breaking and entering! Players must question and form bonds with the community and figure out the next victim before they’re butchered.

Your actions affect how the story plays out, and as the killer could be any of the townsfolk, you can even romance them without knowing! Farming, romance, and murder… What more could you need!?

Grave Seasons isn’t far away, launching on August 15th for consoles and PC.

Bad Badger

If that old Honey Badger video on YouTube was a game it’d be Bad Badger. You play as a honey badger getting into all sorts of mischief at the zoo; fighting crocodiles, stealing a rhino calf, smashing stuff, riding around on other animals, hijacking vehicles, terrorising zookeepers and visitors… Honey badger don’t care!

Too often are we forced to be good in games, sometimes you just need to be a bad little honey badger! Bad Badger leans into bedlam, rewarding you with skill points for being bad, to upgrade your abilities and more ways to cause trouble!

There’s no release date for Bad Badger, but when it does drop… it’s going to be chaotic fun!

Pirofauna

Arson has never been so adorable! Pirofauna is an atmospheric adventure where everything you touch sets ablaze. You play as a little living flame, exploring a paper forest (uh-oh), banishing ghosts, relighting fireplaces, and befriending the local fire-bugs.

The game’s environments were first handcrafted out of paper and glue, before being scanned into the game. Look closely and you can see the paper textures on rocks, trees and houses which brings a really unique style.

Sorry pyromaniacs, Pirofauna doesn’t have a release date yet.

Flip-Flop Fury

Flip-Flop Fury — or as I like to call it, ‘angry mom simulator’ —  has you deftly hurling flip-flops (and other shoes) at your target through a gauntlet of obstacles, like curving bullets in the movie Wanted!

You’ll deliver podiatric punishment across an assortment of thematic levels to a variety of ne’er-do-wells — from alleyway urinators and movie chatterboxes to tax-dodging billionaires! There’s a cabinet full of shoes to wield, each offering unique perks like smashing through walls or freezing time.

Flip-Flop Fury doesn’t have a release date just yet, keep an eye out for this one!
