The Blood of Dawnwalker has players exploring some dark and deep narratives, but Anca’s questline is by far the most impactful.
As part of the Echoes of Silenced Bells quest, you’ll head to St. Tyna’s Convent with Anca. Within the fog, Coen will explore a decaying monastery filled with evil.
Anca has a lot of history with St. Tyna’s, it’s where she grew up and learned everything she knew about the dark arts.
This was one of my favourite quests in the game, with a rich atmosphere and puzzle elements at play.

Here’s how to navigate St Tyna’s Convent with Anca in the quest Echoes of Silenced Bells:
As you approach the convent, Coen can investigate the body of a guard. Doing so alerts Coen and Anca to the fact that Brencis’ army has come through here — and that someone, or something, killed them.

As you enter the convent with Anca, you’ll come face to face with an angry, fallen nun; the nuns at this convent have all died and are suffering from an undead curse.
Coen and Anca seek refuge inside a refectory building and hatch a plan to move across the courtyard to the library.
In the refectory building, you’ll find a map on the first floor. Move through the room at the back of the kitchen and you’ll find it sitting on a table in a back room.

Upstairs, you’ll find a shrine to pass time or upgrade your skills.
When ready, head out the upstairs door onto the balcony overlooking the convent courtyard.
Many of the buildings around the convent are locked and Coen will need to find the keys to progress.

Be prepared to fight the undead nuns, but keep in mind they’re slow and easier to block than traditional enemies.
That said, once you knock them down, they’ll get back up before you know it — move quickly!
Where are the monastery keys at St Tyna’s convent?
The monastery keys can be found in the Tugurium, or what I’d describe as a garden shed to the right of the Mausoleum. These keys open up several doors around the convent.
After collecting the keys, be sure to obtain the amulet from the dead nun in the Mausoleum next to the Tugurium.
Before you head to the bell tower, you’ll need to acquire bell tolling directions from the Dormitorium.

You’ll find a note with instructions on the floor.
The church offers Coen an investigation sequence where he’ll uncover more on who St. Tyna was, and the hysterical scramble to collect parts from St. Tyna‘s corpse (gruesome).
You’re also able to unlock the infirmary by signalling the Infirmary Bell tolls.

This will let loose the zombies into the infirmary and library, in doing so will kill Brencis’ guards hiding out in the infirmary and gaining you infamy. If you haven’t already investigated the infirmary, this will cross it off your objectives — but it was very fun letting the zombies wreak havoc.
To create a safe path for Anca, make sure you ring the bell tower to send all the zombies to the church.
Head back to Anca and tell her you’ve cleared a path. In the library, speak with Anca and she’ll direct you to a hidden room.

From here we’re heading into the convent’s catacombs. As you enter, follow the corridor, noting the locked door to your right. Continue through to the gated room. There’ll be a zombie on your right.
Continue through the catacombs, noting that you can now kill the zombies down here and they won’t get back up.

Be sure to loot the coffins lying about, there’s some golden plates and silver goblets to find.
After investigating the table with the scribed sigils, prepare for another fight in the next room. Three zombies await.
The rooms progressively get more tangled up in deep red coloured roots, and Coen will start to see demonic visions.
At last, you’ll find Leonica. Hacking away at her arm in some kind of ritual. She’s completely fallen to these dark magiks.

It’s here you’ll face Leonica.
There’s stages to this boss battle; Leonica will teleport around, sending swarms of crows at you and spiked bones. Once you’ve knocked her around a bit, she’ll disappear and summon zombies for you to fight. Defeating the summoned zombies will bring Leonica back to the battle. This occurs three times before you can defeat her.
After defeating Leonica, check her remains for a few high quality items. There’s also a chest on the south east side of the room with some small valuables.
Speak to Anca.
The outcome of this quest is dependent upon whether you help her or not.
