If you’re a fan of the original Mists of Pandaria expansion, the latest remix with no doubt provide a fresh way to dive back into the adventure.
World of Warcraft Remix: Mists of Pandaria is a time-limited event that allows players to re-experience the entirety of the Mists of Pandaria expansion in World of Warcraft. Players can level up from 10 to 70 at an accelerated rate, loot has been completely overhauled, featuring powerful new effects that allow players to shape their experience and enhance their power.
Players can access WoW Remix through the Dragonflight client, no purchase of the latest expansion necessary. Free trial accounts can also participate in WoW Remix up to level 20, however a subscription or game time is needed to continue. Remix is a great way for people to dip their toes into the game!

Players can enjoy new achievements, mounts and cosmetics all while celebrating the 20th Anniversary of World of Warcraft – sounds great!
However, when I first jumped in, I felt overwhelmed and I am not a fan of grindy content. So I’ve written this guide to help maximise your time in World of Warcraft Remix: Mists of Pandaria.
Start with One Character
Players should focus on one character first; keep levelling to 70 until you unlock a few things that will carry over to your other characters. The first item to unlock with your main is the Infinite Power XII achievement for your cloak. This is done pretty seamlessly by collecting 4200 threads, meaning any other character you create moving forward will have the most powerful version of the cloak at level 10, offering the following stats: +150 main stat, +150 versatility and +100% XP.
Blizzard has recently buffed the amount of threads you can get, therefore completing daily quests dungeons, raids, scenarios and world bosses will grant you more threads than ever.

Next, you’ll want unlock the neck, rings, and trinkets for your main character. Once you unlock these, you will also be able to buy them at level 10 for only 10 bronze each at the gem vendor in any Infinite Bazaar. This will give you a huge power spike with all your future characters and make it much easier to get through content.
It’s also essential to complete all raids on normal mode as one of the rings requires you to complete all heroics scenarios. The other ring unlocks from doing every heroic dungeon. The beacon trinket is unlocked through the escalation achievement and the other is awarded by simply hitting level 70 with your main character.
Levelling Other Characters
Once you have your main level 70, it is useful to purchase as many tinker slot gems as you can as soon as possible. Investing 3-5K bronze early with your all to help you get all your best in slot tinkers and will maximise your power and decreasing time getting through dungeons and other content. You’ll get them randomly from the gem vendor, however, you cannot get duplicates so you’ll eventually get the ones you need. Another useful tip is to store all unwanted gems in your bank, this will free up bag space and save time when you’re resocketing new gear.
Players may also like to follow the very popular fast levelling method. This involves spamming Heroics until you unlock a Normal raid, immediately completing it for the bonus experience, and then going back to Heroics until you unlock the next. Players should also turn off auto-loot and be sure not loot any Bonus Experience Tokens while in Heroics or in the Normal raids. Once you complete all three raids, go to your mailbox and quickly power level to level 70!
Quality of Life
Another way to make your journey through World of Warcraft Remix: Mists of Pandaria as smooth as possible, is by using add ons. Do yourself a favour and download Narcissus. This add on will provide you with an hourglass in the character menu and by clicking it an additional window will open. This window allows players to choose their meta cogwheel and tinker gems by providing a simple layout, rather than using the games resocketing button.
What will happen to my timerunning character once the event has finished?
Once World of Warcraft Remix: Mists of Pandaria ends, any characters created during the event will transform into regular Retail WoW characters. This provides players with a fresh way to level characters in preparation for The War Within and have the chance to try out new classes and races.
