First-Look | Melbourne’s Marvel Superstore Opens Its Doors

It’s open! Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium has just cut the ribbon on its flagship Marvel and AFL Superstore.

Located to the left of Gate 5, the shiny new store features Marvel movie merch, mixed with AFL jerseys, scarfs and more.

It’s all part of Marvel Stadium’s $250 million redevelopment, which is moments from completion.

This is Australia’s only official Marvel store, and possibly the Southern Hemisphere!

There’s ample opportunity here for Marvel to load this store up with comic books and other traditional collectibles, but how well does that mix with the footy crowd?

One side of the store is packed with toys, clothing and life-sized statues of some of our favourite heroes, while the other is wall-to-wall of AFL merch.

Marvel Stadium and the Superstore is located at 740 Bourke Street, Docklands — just on the border of Melbourne’s CBD. It’s open Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with extended hours on event days.
