Calling all FINAL FANTASY and Dragon Quest fans! Famed Square Enix game developer Naoki Yoshida is coming to Melbourne to give an exclusive talk about his creative process.
The event, “Pushing Boundaries in MMORPGs”, will be held on Tuesday 8th October, 7pm AEDT, at Goldfields Theatre at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC). This is a one-night-only event as part of Melbourne International Games Week (MIGW) 2024.

Tickets are available for purchase Friday 30th August, 10am, for the extremely reasonable price of $10 ($5 for ACMI members). Popular local streamer Stephanie ‘Hex’ Bendixsen will host the 90-minute event.
Yoshida will share insights from his three decades of experience in the gaming industry working on major franchises including FINAL FANTASY and Dragon Quest, and how he’s made MMORPG FINAL FANTASY XIV (FFXIV) one of the most popular games in the genre. Yoshida most recently worked as a Producer for FINAL FANTASY XVI (FFXVI), the latest instalment in the franchise.
