As you go about your requests in Whisper of the House, keep an eye out — Whisper Town is full of strange anomalies awaiting your discovery.
These oddities shimmer with some form of magic and glitchy energy, waiting to be uncovered as you go about your day job as an organizer. Once you find one, it’s whisked away to the museum — a gleaming glass pyramid that slowly fills with your discoveries. Out front, you’ll notice the glowing anomaly counter starting at 42 and ticking down with each new find.

But here’s a hot tip: there are actually even more anomalies tucked away than the game first suggests — I’ve found 49, and there may be others still whispering through the cracks.
Ready to find them all? Let’s get started.
1. Lion at the Entrance of Chinatown
You will stumble across a number of the anomalies as you wander around Whisper Town for the first time — the Lion is the first of them. You will find it at the entrance of Chinatown.

2. Basketball Court at Night
This anomaly requires it being night-time. Venture onto the basketball court to find this unusual basketball.

3. Phone Booth at the Police Station
You’ll find this anomaly just on the corner of the Police Station, near the foreshore.

4. Ghost Girl in the Well
Venture across to the small farm on the right-hand side of the Whisper Town, below the cemetary, and you will find a small farm. Notice the strange well? Well, see what’s in there!

5. Road in front of the Train Station
Honestly, this one is hard to miss. It is blocking the road in front of the Train Station. It isn’t clear what it is, but add it to your collection anyway!

6. Entrance of the Library
You’ll spot a strange, floating alomaly near the entrance of the Library (bottom-left side of Whisper Town). Upon exploring, it will reveal itself as a townperson, who has absolutely no memory of what happened. Curious. Very curious.

7. House in Front of the Tower Crane
You will find this anomaly on the facade of a building near the centre of town, just below the tower crane.

8. The Tower Crane
Just behind the previous anomaly, you’ll find the tower cranes. This anomaly actually a little tricky to get to. The building in anomaly seven? That’s your entrance point — head through the gap between the buildings and head right to the small entrance near the yellow fencing. Voila!

9. The Giraffe at the Entrance of the Museum
You’ll find this, um, giraffe? Right at the entrance to the Museum.

10. Whac-A-Mole Outside the Cinema
Honestly, it is all in the title. Anything that I say further on this is completely and utterly superfluous.

11. Fire Hydrant Next to the Supermarket
You will find a burst fire hydrant between the cinema and the Supermarket. Fix the fire hydrant to reveal an anomaly. There are actually quite a few burst or leaking fire hydrants around town (local plumber is on vacation?). Luckily, they’re an easy fix.

12. Sculpture at the Entrance of the Park
The park at the top of Whisper Town houses a number of strange and unusual sculptures. Two of them are anomalies. Find the first one just to the left of the entrance.

13. Sculpture at the End of the Park
You will find the second the park’s anomalies at the very end, surrounded by water.

14. Speedboat at the End of the Jetty
On the coast of Whisper Town, you will find a long jetty. Head to the end, and on the left you’ll see a speedboat that isn’t quite like the others.

15. Lighthouse
You will find the lighthouse further up the coast, to the right up a small sandy peninsula.

16. Dark Area Beneath the Lighthouse
Another one of these where there’s not much more I can give you other than describing the anomaly itself!

17. Luna’s Apartment – Footprints in the Bathroom
Okay, the anomalies out and about Whisper Town are out of the way. It is time to start finding some as you progress through Whisper of the House‘s various townspeople requests. The first few are in Luna’s Apartment.
As you are cleaning out Luna’s bathroom you’ll notice some footprints on the floor. One is an anomaly.

18. Luna’s Apartment – Secret Room Entrance
The second anomaly in Luna’s apartment is upstairs in the bedroom. Move the Mona Lisa painting to reveal a the entrance to a secret room. The entrance itself is an anomaly. Make what you will of the secret room…

19. Luna’s Apartment – Friend’s Bedframe
Further along in Whisper of the House, Luna requests you come back to help set up her room for her friend to move in. Her friend’s bedframe is an anomaly.

20. Luna’s Apartment – Rubber Duck
Oh, and don’t miss the rubber duck in Luna’s bathroom! Give it a little squeeze to reveal an anomaly.

21. Jane’s Instrument Shop – Bass Guitar
You will be prompted by Jane to help set up her instrument shop, “VERY PUNK Instrument Shop.” While you’re unpacking the bass guitars, you will notice one that isn’t quite like the others. That’s an anomaly.

22. Wandering General Store – Freezer Door
There are two convenience stores in Whisper Town. The first — the “Wandering General Store” — houses a freezer whose door doubles as an anomaly.

23. Supermarket – Manager of the Quiankun General Store
Whisper Town’s Supermarket is hard to miss — it is very big, very fluro. Inside, you’ll find The Manager of the Quiankun General Store. He is an anomaly!

24. Supermarket – Towel
Upstairs in the supermarket you will find “Hurry-to-Grab Home Textiles” — look for the towel on the wall.

25. Meteor Bar – Refrigerator
You’ll get a request to help with setting up a music-themed cocktail bar. Look for the fridge on the left-hand side.

26. Seaside Cabin – Wooden Plank
You’ll receive a request from “Fishie” to check out his childhood seaside cabin — an apt name, considering all the fishy happenings inside…
You’ll find the first anomaly on the right-hand side — a plank blocking a gaping hole to the darkness below.

27. Seaside Cabin – Graffiti
Once you’ve cleaned up the cabin, you’ll notice some…abstract crayon doodles that Fishie must’ve drawn as a kid. An anomaly in more than one sense of the word.

28. Seaside Cabin – Bulb Installed in the Basement Street Lamp
Not a typo — there’s a street lamp in the basement. And believe it or not, that will be the least unusual thing you’ll find once you take the… bathtub elevator down. Search the darkness below to spot the street lamp, then head upstairs to track down its missing bulb. Return the bulb, and the anomaly will be unlocked.

29. Cheryl’s Bakery – Croissant
Cheryl — the town’s baker — will ask for your help setting up her bakery. With a working oven at your disposal, you can bake a variety of goods. Look for the croissant — you’ll need to cook it three times to unlock the anomaly.
Warning: In my first playthrough, after completing the request, the croissant disappeared. This may be a glitch, or it might mean you need to bake the croissant during the request itself.

30. Cheryl’s Bakery – Skull in the Bedroom
After decking out Cheryl’s bakery, you’ll be directed to help in setting up her bedroom. While you’re unpacking, look for the purple skull.

31. Cheryl’s Bakery – Crystal Ball in the Bedroom (or is it in the Alchemy Lab?)
In the same room as the purple skull, you’ll find a crystal ball. Or at least, you might.
In different playthroughs, I’ve spotted this anomaly in varying locations. One alternate spot is the Alchemy Lab, inside the subspace room. See anomaly 39 for more details on how to reach it.

32. Convenience Store – Ice Cream Machine
In Whisper Town’s second Convenience store, “No. 8 Convenience Store Pro”, you’ll unpack an ice cream machine as part of your store fit-out. Set it on the bench, place a cup underneath and activate the machine. You find yourself with a delicious chocolate icream and one of the game’s anomalies. Score!

33. Sage’s Home – Pen Holder
You’ll get a request from Sage, the Whisper Daily journalist. It is listed as the Newspaper Office on the map, but inside, you’ll find a mahjong room she is hoping you can set up.
After setting up the mahjong room, check behind the circular walkway to find a light switch. There are three anomalies in this room — the first is a pen holder resting on the left-hand side, on a table.

34. Sage’s Home – Incense Burner
On the opposite corner of the room you will find an incense burner resting on a cabinet.

35. Sage’s Home – Printer
The final anomaly in Sage’s house involves a small puzzle. Activate the printer on the right-hand side of the room, then collect each printed sheet to complete the strange symbol on the pinboard above. Once the symbol is fully assembled, the pinboard will transform into an anomaly.

36. Alchemy Lab – Double Portrait
There’s a lot to unpack in Cheryl’s late alchemist husband’s lab, from arcane experiments to mysterious artifacts. For a deeper dive into the full story and detailed steps, check out this fulsome guide here.
The first anomaly is in the kitchen — you’ll find it on the wall.

37. Alchemy Lab – Flying Broom
To unlock this anomaly, brew the “Skywing” potion by mixing the quill from the workshop with the blue canned flowers found in the Herbs Lab in the cauldron. Then, use the potion on the broomstick to watch it take flight!

38. Alchemy Lab – Fireworks
To unlock this anomaly, combine the Blastbloom (a blue and orange spiky flower found in the Herbs Lab) with the thermal mix (marked by a flame icon) in the cauldron. Drop both ingredients in, and… boom! You’ll create a magical firework that unlocks this vibrant anomaly.

39. Alchemy Lab – Cube in Subspace
Accessing this anomaly requires getting to subspace. To do so, first brew the “Dew of the Silver Mirror” potion by combining Evening Moonflower, Mercury Thistle, and Silverleaf Elixir — all found in the Herbs Lab — in the cauldron. Use the potion on the mysterious mirror in the workshop to open a portal to Subspace. In there, you’ll find an unusual multi-dimensional cube that serves as an anomaly. As mentioned in anomaly 31, you might find the crystal ball anomaly here as well.

40. Flower Shop – Juniper Plant
Anna runs a flower shop and will ask for your help setting it up. While unpacking, keep an eye out for the peculiar juniper plant.

41. Flower Shop – Planting the Alien Flower
Later in Whisper of the House, Anna will introduce her expanded gardening section, featuring a variety of mysterious seeds and unique plants ready for you to cultivate. For a complete walkthrough on unlocking all the plants in the cultivation guide, check out our detailed guide here. One standout anomaly is the Alien Flower — grow it by combining Alien soil with Cultivation Seed No. 3 and the Alien nutrient solution.

42. Grandpa’s Home – Time Capsule
EinSmart will request you head to his underground lab beneath his Grandpa’s house. Sounds like he is on the verge of some big scientific breakthrough…
After encovering the [spoiler] you’ll be tasked with helping tidy up Grandpas house. While cleaning, you’ll notice a small white and red time capsule.

43. Grandpa’s Home – Big Tree
Grandpa asks for your help planting a tree in his front yard. Once it’s in the ground, the tree transforms into an anomaly.

44. EinSmart’s Basement– Phase Cancellation Box
In EinSmart’s basement below Grandpa’s house, you’ll find a collection of unusual contraptions. To unlock the anomaly, locate the missing knob for the Phase Cancellation Box. It’s hidden inside the Joystick Box, which you can open by activating its handle. Once you return the knob to the Phase Cancellation Box, you’ll unlock both a fascinating anomaly and a bus card. Huzzah!

45. Hospital – Hallway Poster
Kuroi will request you go to the Hospital and collect a patient’s belongings. The first anomaly you’ll find is a stray cat shelter poster in the hallway.

46. Hospital – Cat Feeder Outside the Window
Head down the hospital hall to room 205. Inside, explore while a clever cat does its best to stay invisible. Sooner or later, it’ll leap out the window and vanish into the garden — follow its escape.

47. Graveyard – Photo Wall
Lewen, the graveyard keeper, will ask for help setting up the cemetery. Look for the photowall on the left-hand side.

48. Graveyard – Lamp on First Floor
While in the cemetery, explore the tower on the right-hand side. You’ll notice a lamp that’s not quite like the others on the first floor.

49. Graveyard – Grandpa’s Tombstone
Back in the cemetery grounds, look for Grandpa’s photo pinned on the noticeboard and drag it to the blank tombstone in the center-back of the graveyard.
