DJI are known for their impressive cameras and drones, but their latest piece of tech is changing the commercial game.
The DJI FlyCart 30 can fly over 16 kilometres to deliver a payload up to 30 kilograms, 28 kilometres without a payload.

It has a 20 m/s max speed, which is about 70km/h and its propellers have a maximum flight altitude of 6000 metres.

DJI says the FlyCart 30 can be utilised for mountain transportation, offshore transportation, as well as emergency rescue transportation. All while running on a dual battery system.
What about residential delivery?
Will we see JB HiFi delivering us a PS5 and new TV in a few minutes? Unlikely.
It’s doubtful we’ll see these mini helicopters flying through suburban streets anytime soon.

While this is positively a commercial product, it could change the way we get products delivered to our doors warehouse to warehouse.

Another key feature was its capability to fly in freezing temperatures. The FlyCart 30 can withstand -25°C environments, and a maximum temperature of 45°C.
That’s a whole lot of impressive tech.
How much does the FlyCart 30 cost?
The DJI FlyCart 30 is only available through commercial dealers, but it’s been reportedly sold in China for $25,000 AUD.

In Australia, it’s illegal to fly a drone within 30 metres of a person.
You also can’t fly higher than 120 metres, you’re not allowed to fly at night and the drone isn’t allowed to leave your line of sight.
