Let’s a go! March 10th is officially Mar10 (Mario) day and boy has Nintendo delivered some exciting news for fans across the world.
You know when Nintendo brings Shigeru Miyamoto-san out of the woodwork something big is about to happen.

Lo and behold, he announced that the sequel to the Mario movie is now in development. Nintendo is again partnering with Illumination Studios to bring the Mario universe to the big screen, but don’t expect it any time soon. It’s currently slated to release in April 2026.
We also learned the release dates for two upcoming Mario video game titles. The much anticipated Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door remake is coming in just a couple of months, with a release date of May 23rd.
With the Poltergust 5000 in hand, Mario’s scaredy cat brother will soon be ghostbusting again in Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD on June 27th for Nintendo Switch. I cannot wait to find and pat that good boy Polterpup.
Mario10 Day finished with a bang by revealing 3 new games coming to the Nintendo Switch Online on March 12th.
The titles include Doctor Mario (1990/91) on the Gameboy, as well as two Game Boy Color games, Mario Golf (1999) and Mario Tennis (2000/01). Itsa’ good time to be a Mario fan in 2024!
