Video games releasing in November 2025

It’s a big month for Nintendo this November with both Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment and Kirby Air Riders set to release. Gamers will also get to answer the call of duty, rumble with the Blue Blur, paint up a storm in a new metroidvania, and get dumb with Patrick Star.

Here are our most anticipated games releasing in November 2025:

Sonic Rumble

Sonic meets Fall Guys in Sonic Rumble, a multiplayer party game full of chaos and mayhem, that has 32 players duking it out to be ‘top hog’. Pull on the iconic red sneakers as Sonic, or a variety of other fan favourites like Tails, Shadow and Knuckles.

In squads of four, you drop into a toy world created by Dr. Eggman, and battle your way through deadly obstacle courses and arenas. ‘Run’ levels have you racing for top spot, ‘Survival’ levels are knock-out courses, and ‘Ring Battle’ levels have you competing to collect the most rings.

Sonic Rumble will be free-to-play with in-app purchases. It releases on November 5th for PC, Android and iPhone.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment

The successful mashing of the Zelda franchise and signature Dynasty Warriors gameplay is back in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment. The new entry is set during Princess Zelda’s time in the ancient past, meaning Link might not be playable in the game… Though anything is possible with magic.

With the Demon King Ganondorf invading Hyrule, you’ll control Zelda, the sages, and various other heroes from the past, hacking and slashing your way through hordes of enemies. Swords and sorcery aren’t the only way to slay; you’ll also be able to utilise Zonai devices like flame throwers and rockets to turn your foes to toast.

There’ll also be two-player co-op available via split screen or GameShare.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment launches November 6th, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 launches this month, with a new campaign set in the year 2035 as the world edges toward collapse. Players can tackle the story solo or in co-op, travelling from the rooftops of Japan to the Mediterranean coast — and even into the depths of the human mind. From the looks of the trailer, there’s some serious reality-bending chaos happening.

Multiplayer will launch with 16 smaller 6v6 maps and two large-scale 20v20 arenas, promising plenty of fast paced firefights. Rounding it all out, the series’ classic Zombies mode returns, dropping players into the Dark Aether for a brutal battle against the undead.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is set to launch on the 14th for PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide

Are ya ready kids!? Dive into Bikini Bottom in SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide, the 3D Adventure Platformer from Purple Lamp — developers of Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated and The Cosmic Shake.

The dynamic duo of SpongeBob and Patrick are back to save a haunted Bikini Bottom. You’ll need to switch between the two besties to solve platforming puzzles and defeat ghostly enemies. Featuring a brand new story and voice acting from the cast of the TV show.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide floats onto PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on November 19th.

Kirby Air Riders

If one kart racer from Nintendo wasn’t enough this year, Kirby Air Riders is here to re-scratch that itch. The creator of Kirby himself, Masahiro Sakurai, is back in the director’s seat for this one. ‘Air Ride’ is the classic kart racing mode, where you pick a rider from franchise favourites like Kirby, King Dedede, and Meta Knight. You race against other players, drifting around corners to build your boost gauge, and activating special moves to help you get ahead.

What sets it apart from its popular cousin, Mario Kart, is its other game modes. In ‘City Trial’, you have 5 minutes to free-roam around a hub world, searching for a more powerful vehicle, competing in mini-games, and collecting power-ups to increase the stats of your vehicle. Once the time is up, you’ll compete in various competitions to determine the overall winner of the game: ‘Melee’ tasks you with defeating as many enemies as possible, ‘Air Glider’ has you launching off a ramp and flying as far as you can, ‘Drag Race’ is a straight shot race to the finish line, and many more. It looks like a unique mix of Mario Party and Mario Kart!

There’s also a tonne of different modes, an in-depth vehicle decorator, and even an online market to buy community designed vehicles and more. If you’re interested, I’d recommend checking out the two Kirby Air Riders Directs, hosted by Mr. Sakurai himself.

Kirby Air Riders blasts onto Nintendo Switch 2 on November 20th.

Constance

Constance is a new metroidvania with stunning hand-drawn artwork and environments, with an emphasis on story. You play as the titular Constance, delving into her own mental health struggles; the games’ different biomes and enemies representing aspects of her psyche.

Full of action, adventure, and 2D-platforming goodness; Constance’s abilities revolve around paint and artistry. She wields a paintbrush as both a weapon and platforming tool, and Constance can even turn into paint herself to dodge past hazards.

Constance releases on November 25th for PC and consoles.
