Video games releasing in November 2023

As we creep closer to the end of the year, we’re starting to see video game releases wind down slightly; which is a bit of a godsend after the packed year we’ve had.

With a new Like a Dragon game, a Star Ocean remake, and the revival of the classic Mario RPG; there are still some gems on the horizon to add to your ever growing backlogs!

Here’s our list of games to play in November.

RoboCop: Rogue City

Hit the streets of Old Detroit and blast away some criminal scum! RoboCop is back in all his glory with cheesy dialogue, over-the-top action, and brutal justice!

Part man. Part machine. All cop.

RoboCop: Rogue City is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on November 2nd.

Star Ocean The Second Story R

A remake of a JRPG classic, Star Ocean The Second Story R is a game many would regard on the same level as Final Fantasy VII and Chrono Trigger. Unlike its more famous cousins though, Star Ocean had a real time battle system that allowed you to move freely around the battlefield.

There are over a dozen potential party members you can recruit, depending on the main character you choose and the decisions you make during the game. It also had amazing RPG systems such as pickpocket anyone, a full on battle colosseum and even an Iron Chef style cooking competition!

I’ll be first in line to pick up Star Ocean The Second Story R when it releases on November 2nd for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC.

WarioWare: Move It!

The latest wacky Wario outing is just around the corner; perfect for a party or just letting the silly child inside run free!

WarioWare: Move It! features a whopping 200 micro-games, each more bizarre than the last. Lay eggs and lasso llamas, even trace the alphabet with your butt! Grab your mates and your Joy-Cons for an experience like no other.

You can pick it up for the Nintendo Switch on November 3rd.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name

The latest in the Like a Dragon series, (formally Yakuza in the west) Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is an over the top action-drama, that promises to bring more of the gameplay you know and love.
Play as retired Yakuza legend Kazuma Kiryu, going by the code name ‘Joryu’, as he is dragged out of hiding and once again thrust into the thick of things.

It’s out on November 9th for PlayStation, Xbox and PC.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III

The most iconic first-person shooter franchise is back with another entry into the rebooted Modern Warfare series. Whether you play COD for the epic campaigns or the intense multiplayer; it’s always a guaranteed hit in the fps community.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is coming to PlayStation, Xbox and PC on November 10th.

KarmaZoo

In KarmaZoo, the only way to succeed is to be kind and be a team player. Do a good deed, earn some Karma and help your team navigate this 2D pixel-art platformer. It’s multiplayer at its core, with the player encouraged to jump online, without comms, and attempt to communicate with people around the world using little gestures and emojis. The idea is that the world can come together and help each other, regardless of our language.

The Karma Zoo opens on November 15th for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars Remake

Super Mario RPG is back! Mario’s first role-playing adventure from 1996 on the Super Nintendo is being remade for the Nintendo Switch. Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars Remake will feature updated visuals and a mixture of classic & modern gameplay mechanics; it’s looking like a winner!

Okay, maybe it’s not such a quiet month after all! At least the Bluey video game will keep my kid happy while I pump 100 hours into Star Ocean!
