Many World of Warcraft players have been at rest, biding their time in other games, patiently awaiting the resurrection of servers with the regular pre-expansion update. And now, it’s time to jump on, check in with guildies and start making plans for the next major instalment: The War Within.
Players all across the world can expect multiple updates from Blizzard in the coming weeks. The first starts today, with pre-expansion content dropping, stirring the pot of excitement leading into The War Within. Then later in August, the real fun begins!

Come August 27th at 8:00 AM AEST, players will enter the beginning of the rise of the Void – they’ve been gaining strength and we must stop them! Along with the continuation of the lore, we can look forward to the introduction of Warbands, Skyriding, class and system updates.

Once players can get in, this intends to be the tip of the iceberg for new WoW content, with the second instalment of the pre-expansion update going live on July 31st.
