We thought we had seen the best of the most realistic food in gaming, but CAPCOM recently entered the mix with its upcoming title Kunitsu Gami: Path of the Goddess.

Historically, the dish was created by commoners as an imitation of the shaved ice blocks that were transported to Kyoto from the wintry Hokuriku to be made into shaved ice for Kyoto court nobles, which made them incredibly expensive.
According to its website, “Tsuruya Noshinobu has served the Kyoto Imperial Palace and grand tea masters since our founding in 1803 in Kyoto.”
Kunitsu Gami is a third-person action adventure game with RTS and tower defense elements. It’s launching on PC via Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Xbox Game Pass on July 19th, a demo is also available now.
