What is Fear the Spotlight about?

Teenagers Vivian and Amy hold a seance in their high school after hours and (no surprises), it all goes wrong — horribly wrong. Vivian is more straight edge than her friend Amy, who loves to stir a little bit of mayhem. But now Vivian has found herself alone, running the halls of Sunnyside High, looking for Amy and dodging the dangers that threaten their lives.

With creepy themes and vintage vibes, Fear the Spotlight is a love letter to classic 90s horror games.

Fear the Spotlight doesn’t have jump scares! This could make it the perfect entry for those curious about the spook, but not keen on jumping out of their chairs. Developers Cozy Game Pals have leaned more into the tense atmosphere, creating an exciting scary game instead.

This classic teen horror game will get gamers feeling all the feels while exploring Sunnyside High. Players must avoid the gaze of a firey spotlight, complete puzzles, stealth the halls and unravel the truth behind a tragic fire.

As a Blumhouse fan, I can’t wait to jump in and play! Fear the Spotlight is out now on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox.
