Microsoft has introduced a new version of the Xbox Wireless Headset, offering gamers several upgrades while maintaining the core features of the original model.
With an all black design and key performance improvements, the refreshed headset is set to replace its predecessor and hit the market at a price of $159.95 AUD.

One of the new features of the new Xbox Wireless Headset is the inclusion of Dolby Atmos for immersive, spatial audio, available at no additional cost.

Another significant improvement comes in the form of an extended battery life. The new headset can now deliver up to 20 hours of playtime on a single charge, around 5 hours more than the original.
The headset’s microphone has been upgraded with “enhanced auto-mute functionality” and “voice isolation technology” — this will help block out noise around you while chatting with friends.
Visually, the headset has been given a subtle but refined update. The new all black design complements the Series X console, offering a sleek, modern look.
The new headset is available now.
