Bethesda Quietly Releases A New Elder Scrolls Game in Australia

“Hey, you’re finally awake.” — Bethesda Game Studios has expanded its beloved Elder Scrolls universe with the slow-release of their latest mobile game: The Elder Scrolls: Castles.

Initially launched exclusively in the Philippines earlier this year, the wait is over for Aussies eager to dive into this new, bite-sized addition to the beloved franchise.

The Elder Scrolls: Castles offers a unique take on the series, focusing on castle management with a more cartoonish 3D aesthetic.

Players must balance managing resources like food and oil, completing quests, slaying dragons, and defending their keeps from sieges.

While the gameplay may seem reminiscent of its sibling game Fallout: Shelter, several unique features set it apart.

In TES: Castles, players can extend rooms by building walls block by block, upgrade furnishings and workstations for higher efficiency. There are also a few key decisions to be made that impact the keep’s legacy. Additionally, the game includes Sheogorath’s Gauntlet, a rogue-like PVE game mode.
