Our Favourite Cosy Games Coming to PC and Consoles in 2024

Are you sitting down? Do you have a hot chocolate and a blanket? Hope so! Because we’re about to take you on a cosy journey through the depths of the internet, highlighting some of our most anticipated cosy games of 2024.

Here’s our pick of the cosy bunch for 2024

Horticular

Horticular is a relaxing garden-builder that sees players summoned to an abandoned garden – by gnomes! What do they want? For you to breathe new life into a long-lost garden, abandoned by its previous caretaker.

Developed by inDirection Games, enter a magical world where you build and expand a lush garden at your own pace. But just watch out for the mysterious decay and corruption!

There’s no release date just yet, but there’s a demo available now. You can play the Horticular demo and wishlist it on Steam.

Tiny Glade

Tiny Glade gives players the tools to carve and craft castles and landscapes; the developers call it “doodling”.

In Tiny Glade, you don’t need to worry about bad guys or messing something up. It’s just pure relaxing and cosy goodness.

In development by Pounce Light, Tiny Glade is coming to PC later this year.

Fruitbus

Fruitbus is a cosy food truck simulator set across a group of tropical islands. Players must forage for ingredients, cook up a feast and serve it.

In development by Norway’s Krillbite Studios, Fruitbus is shaping up to be a wonderful, quirky and vibrant journey.

Mika and The Witch’s Mountain

Mika and the Witch’s Mountain is very reminiscent of Kiki’s Delivery Service, a classic Studio Ghibli animation. It’s these vibes that make us super keen to explore this open world adventure.

This fantasy adventure was brought to life through a Kickstarter campaign, raising over €1.3 million for developers Chibig.

Mika and the Witch’s Mountain is coming this year, but there’s no date set. In the meantime, you can check out a demo on Steam today.

Tales of the Shire

A cosy game set in the world of The Lord of the Rings? Shut up and take my money.

While we haven’t had much more than a 45-second teaser, the whole concept of a cosy game set in The Shire is so precious.

I feel confident with this one. In development by New Zealand’s Wētā Workshop, a team renowned for their custom weaponry and work with the Lord of the Rings films — there’s no denying Wētā Workshop know their stuff.

No date has been set for Tales of the Shire, but it’s scheduled for release in 2024.

Little Kitty, Big City

Little Kitty, Big City is the curious game of a cat exploring the world around it. No doubt there’s plenty of mischief and mayhem to be had, as you take control of this kitty on a mission to get home.

Little Kitty, Big City is coming to PC and Nintendo Switch this year. No release date has been set.

Southfield

Southfield is a cosy farming game with wild physics and silly characters to boot.

Wobble and roll your way across fields, build crazy machines and grow “chaotic” crops.

Bandle Tale

What if League of Legends, but cosy? That’s exactly was Bandle Tale is, taking the beloved lore of League of Legends and making it extra cutesy.

Go fishing through portals, make familiar friends and run a food stall for the town. All while saving the day…

Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story is coming to Nintendo Switch and PC later this year.
