Shimmering Skies, the fifth set in the Disney Lorcana TCG, has been unveiled during today’s Lorecast event. We’re only just getting ready for the second set to land in Australia and we’re already hyped for the fifth!
Following the defeat of Ursula in set four, Ursula’s Return, Shimmering Skies introduces new Disney characters and gameplay mechanics — including Wreck-It Ralph, Vanellope Von Schweetz and Fix-it Felix Jr.

Players can enjoy two new starter decks (Emerald/Steel and Amethyst/Ruby), booster packs, and a new Illumineer’s Trove – a premium collection that includes booster packs, card storage, and exclusive materials to enhance gameplay.
Though Lorcana accessories aren’t available in Australia just yet, we had news of some new playmat designs, deck boxes, sleeves and card portfolios.
Lorcana: Shimmering Skies will be available at local game stores on August 9th and major retailers on August 23rd. This will be the first set to launch simultaneously with the rest of the world.
