I’m a simple man, I hear the gravelly tones of Geralt of Rivia AKA Doug Cockle… I press like. Doug is back narrating the trailer (and game) for the newly announced Tails of Iron II.
A sequel to the excellent 2021 rat-venture Tales of Iron, the action RPG follows new protagonist Arlo on his perilous quest through the snow-ravaged lands, to defeat an ancient evil.

As the Rats were warring with Frogs in the South, a terrible evil was stirring in the frozen north, the Dark Wings! With their glowing blue eyes, never-ending march south, and giant fire-breathing bat-dragon mounts, the bat-people are giving off big white walker vibes! There’s clearly big Game of Thrones influences here.
With the addition of legendary monsters to slay around the realm, the game is also giving off Witcher energy… However, that could be more to do with Doug’s narration.
The brutal soulslike combat is back, with dodge-rolls, parry bashes, and gruesome executions to boot. With an arsenal of weaponry and deadly traps at your disposal, you’ll be bringing even the most ferocious monsters to heel.

Even with its deathly serious tone, I can’t help but smile at the little rat doing human things.
Tails of Iron II is ‘coming soon’ to PlayStation and Xbox consoles, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic.
