Last year’s TGX was a great weekend for gamers, and now we’re preparing for the next big event. Come March, gamers and industry professionals alike will enjoy two days filled with special guests, indie games, cosplaying and best of all — seeing friends! Everyone is welcome to explore all the nooks and crannies of The Game Expo, just make sure you grab a ticket!
What To Expect at TGX 2025:
Here are a few main highlights from the returning activities at The Game Expo:
- PC LAN and Creator Showdown: Watch popular creators go head-to-head in a live 60-player competition, with additional PC tournaments on the way — a sight to see!
- Cosplay Cup and Parade: Take part in the fan-favourite parade or compete for the $5,000 prize in the elite Cosplay Cup. Better start planning my outfit…
- Tabletop and Freeplay Gaming: Join tabletop tournaments, explore the board game library, or enjoy classic and new video games across PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch. You’ll know doubt catch a few of us at the Magic the Gathering, Disney Lorcana and Star Wars Unlimited tables.
- Expanded Exhibitors and Indie Games: Discover the latest in indie gaming and expanded exhibitor showcases. We saw some crackers last year!

TGX is having an early bird special, where gamers can buy a one day pass for as little as $33. If you’re planning on staying for the whole weekend, the two day pass will see you spending $60. But, hey! If you want to get really fancy, there’s a VIP Pass up for grabs which gives you access to a VIP 18+ Lounge, an exclusive pin, and a $100 merch voucher and you get to skip the queues! It’ll just cost you a cool $220.
