A gem I found during this morning’s Guerrilla Collective showcase combines two things I love – rhythm and senseless button pressing. Disco Samurai is a cyberpunk-styled rhythm-based combat game set in Disco, Pennsylvania.
Players star as Fox, a rebellious student caught up in a deep conspiracy, taking down foes with her katana and gun, all set to the sounds of synthwave and rock!

Stick to the beat to unleash attacks, parries, dashes, and other abilities. Players can even add in custom music after completing levels, so you can fight to your preferred jams.
A demo hits Steam on June 10th, that I’ll be giving a go for sure.
Disco Samurai will be available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch sometime in 2024. You can wishlist it on Steam now.
