Just weeks away from launch, it’s been confirmed that Bethesda Softworks and Arkane Studio’s next big game won’t support 60fps from day one.
Redfall is one of the most anticipated Xbox games of 2023, and it’s taken the community by surprise that the game won’t offer what’s seemingly a standard in this current generation of video games.

When the game launches on Xbox it’ll only come with “Quality mode”, with “Performance mode” to be added at a later date.
This means Redfall will only run at 4K 30fps on the Xbox Series X, and just 1440p 30fps for the Series S.
It all comes after Redfall was delayed by six months back in November last year.
I went hands-on with Redfall last month and had a fantastic time. Hopefully, the performance update isn’t too far away.
Redfall is coming to Xbox Game Pass on May 2.
