PlayStation’s annual Easter Sale is here, and there’s a bucket load of excellent games on offer.
The sale ends on April 27, so there’s plenty of time to take a look! But to save you the hassle, we went through all 2000+ sale items and picked out our favourites.
Julian’s top picks
There aren’t too many online games that hold my attention, but Elder Scrolls Online is something I just keep coming back to. It’s now 70% off on the PlayStation store, bringing it down to just $10.48 – ESO usually retails online for $34.95. I’ll also mention that it’s already free to play if you’re subscribed to PlayStation Plus Extra.
My next pick is Hello Neighbour, an absolute classic, for just $5.99 – it’s usually $30.95. It was one of those games that was on my list for so long, and I finally got around to playing it last year. Highly recommend if you love a puzzle and a spook.
It’s a crime to be this cheap, the original Goat Simulator is only $2.99 – and its Waste of Space DLC going for just $1.65. That’s literally cheaper than a cup of coffee. The sequel, Goat Simulator 3, is also on the store for 25% off.
I loved this game when it released last year, skater-shooter Rollerdrome is half-price, going for jsut $22.47.
Releasing late last year, the PS4 version of NBA 2K23 is whopping 75% off, just $24.98. For a semi-new release 2K game, this is a steal. Just to compare, NBA 2K21 is not on sale and is still going for $99.95.

The Last of Us Part I is in my top 10 G.O.A.T. games. If you’ve somehow never played it before or you’re coming in hot off the TV show, this is the version you need. IMO it’s worth every penny at full price, so being 25% off at $93.71 seems like a bargain to me.
Sifu has been hovering at the top of my backlog since it first released and with the Arenas expansion releasing a few days ago, now might be the perfect time to jump in. The Standard and Deluxe editions are both 40% off at the moment. $35.97 and $45.57 respectively.
The Batman: Arkham Collection is a whopping 80% off at $16.99! Three of the best superhero games ever made, even with those frustrating batmobile sections! It includes all post-launch content, for all three games, so there are plenty of dope batsuits to try out.
Tales of Arise is another on my backlog, I loved the demo but haven’t found time for the full game yet! The demo is still available so maybe try that first and see if it’s for you, or grab the standard version for $27.98, that’s a tidy 72% off.
If you’ve never played a Katamari game before then strap in, you’re in for a wild ride! I don’t even know how to put the experience of Katamari Damacy REROLL into words… just take it on faith and grab it while it’s 75% off at $11.23
Just remember, if you don’t like it, it’s YOU that’s wrong not me!

Hitman: World of Assassination bundles together all the main story missions from the Hitman trilogy, offering up hundreds of hours of gameplay in what is arguably the best stealth series available today. At $58.27, the sheer amount of content on offer is a fantastic deal.
With Diablo IV just around the corner, you may be feeling an urge to grind out some dungeons while you wait. The Diablo Prime Evil Collection contains Diablo II: Resurrected and the outstanding console port of Diablo III: Eternal Collection. That’s a hell of a lot of game and it’s only $32.98.
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is one of the most influential games of the PS1 generation and its pixel art graphics have aged like fine wine. Castlevania Requiem includes this classic with the highly regarded Rondo of Blood and they only want a measly $4.99, making it an absolute bargain.
Ellie’s top picks
My top pick is Spider-Man Miles Morales, which is going for 50% off in the PS Easter Sale. At just $47.47, you’d be mad not to play this game – although it’s worth noting Mile Morales is part of the PS Collection, so if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscribers, check that first!
I’m a sucker for The Dark Pictures Anthology, and The Devil In Me is an absolute must play for fans of these games. It’s 25% off on the store right now, priced at $41.21. There’s also a free trial available if you want to try before you buy.
A Way Out is an excellent co-op game, Julian and I played this together a few years ago and it still holds up today. This one is absolute thievery at just $7.99 but it’s also available as part of EA Play.
