The 90s are calling, they want their console back! PlayStation has revealed their 30th Anniversary Collection, featuring the classic PlayStation 1 grey.
As PlayStation moves into its 30th year (I know, try not to feel too old) they’re bringing tech nostalgia to another level.
This limited edition release contains so many goodies; your bank account is already shaking at the thought! To kick things off, there’s a couple of new bundles on offer.

The 30th Anniversary PS5 Pro bundle:
- Includes the limited edition PS5 Pro console with 2TB SSD and matching limited edition accessories – DualSense wireless controller, DualSense Edge wireless controller, DualSense Charging Station, and a Console Cover for a Disc Drive (Disc Drive sold separately).
- It also includes a Vertical Stand and special collector’s Items:
- Original PlayStation controller-style cable connector housing
- Four PlayStation Shapes cable ties
- PlayStation sticker
- Limited Edition PlayStation Poster (1 of 30 possible designs)
- PlayStation Paperclip
The 30th Anniversary PS5 bundle:
- Includes the limited edition PS5 Digital Edition console with 1TD SSD and matching limited edition accessories – DualSense wireless controller and a Console Cover for a Disc Drive (Disc Drive sold separately).

The bundles aren’t the only way to nab yourself a nostalgic accessory! A few standalone items are up for grabs too.
The PlayStation Portal, DualSense Edge wireless controller and the DualSense wireless controller will all don the 30th-anniversary grey and be a statement piece in your gaming collection.
Set your timers, alarms and alerts because this limited edition set is coming on the 21st of November 2024.
PlayStation has said there will only be 12,300 PS5 Pro console bundles available — so get in quick! Each one features the date of the first PlayStation console launched etched into the unit. A sweet touch for those with PlayStation fondly in their hearts.
But how much are they!?
If you’re wondering about the price point, sadly there isn’t any official word on how much these items will set you back. The upcoming PS5 Pro is already sitting at $1,199.95, so expect an increased price point with the limited edition model and accessories.
I’d be taking a guestimate that the DualSense controller will be $130 or more. Only last week, the limited edition AstroBot controller was selling for around $120.
And with the PlayStation Portal still sitting pretty at $329 at all retailers, it’s safe to assume there will be a ‘grey tax’ on that too.
