New Hogwarts Legacy quest and photo mode coming this week

Written by Rhiannen ‘Doomcutie’ Austin

Hogwarts Legacy is receiving a very exciting update this week. New content is on the way, including cosmetics and recipes, which all look magical if I do say so myself. Dabble in the Dark Arts? Long for a ride on a new mythical creature? There’s something for everyone.

The latest update will allow wizards and witches to “obliviate” talents, resetting skill trees and enabling players to discover new ways to play.

Another long-awaited feature is photo mode, something I wished the game had on launch. From what we can see, players will have the ability to change character poses and use Hogwarts House themed filters. Hogwarts Legacy is filled with beautiful visuals and scenery, and I personally cannot wait to dive in and create some magical in-game photography.

Get to know Penny in the Haunted Hogsmeade quest.

The Haunted Hogsmeade questline, previously a PlayStation exclusive, will soon be available on all platforms. After playing it myself, I can confirm that the ghoulish antics will cause a fright even in the most fearless witch or wizard! Shopkeeper Penny is also expected to have a brand new quest for all – details to be announced.

The world of Hogwarts Legacy has so much potential, and a captive audience that’s excited for new content. The game is ripe for these added features – the possibilities are endless! Quidditch and Online Multiplayer would be incredible, but I’d personally love to see new game plus next.

In the meantime, come June 6th, this witch will be learning the Dark Arts, jumping on my new Onyx Hippogryph, looking like a freshly escaped Azkaban inmate — or figuring out how to make a working timeturner — stay tuned, gamers.
