Ahhhhh, the wait is almost over! A release date for Mina the Hollower has finally been revealed at Summer Game Fest, and it’s out this October! Announced back in Feb 2022, Yacht Club Games (Shovel Knight) have been cooking on this one for a little while now, but the wait looks so worth it!

The retro-inspired 2D platformer brings a nostalgia hit for this tenured gamer, the 8-bit graphics taking me right back to playing The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening on the Game Boy Color.
And the Zelda inspirations obviously don’t end there. The action-adventure has you playing as Mina, an adorable little mouse on a mission to save a cursed island. You take on enemies and bosses with a variety of weapons and gadgets, while helping out a variety of colourful characters on the island.
