How to unlock the secret ending in Yes, Your Grace 2: Snowfall

If you think there’s a secret ending in Yes, Your Grace 2: Snowfall, you’re spot on — and the clue’s been sitting in the title all along. This kingdom management sim hides a handful of outcomes, but one of them takes a little extra legwork. Here’s how to unlock it. Spoilers ahead, obviously — proceed at your own risk.

Umm no not really.

The process starts in Chapter 5, Week 3, but only if you’ve rescued Asalia back in Chapter 3, Week 3. She rejoins the court the following week, and after the Battle of Jantar wraps up (Chapter 4), she’ll ask to speak to you in the Garden — her usual haunt.

She’s got a plan to save her father, King Eryk, by growing the Fern Flower, a mythical bloom that grants any wish. To do that, she’ll need:

  • Potash (fertiliser)
  • Fern seeds (from the oldest forest in Davern)
  • Soapstone (to build a greenhouse)
Easy-peasy.

This part’s a bit of a scavenger hunt, but manageable. Getting the soapstone is the easiest task, so start with that. Just talk to Vesa in the Council Room and ask about heat-retaining stones. She hands it over with no fuss.

Pay the Gold.

Unlock the Burning Glade POI, located four POIs south of The Keep. You’ll need 4 Supplies to get there. Once you do, pay 3 Gold to local farmers for the fertiliser. Easy.

How do I know which one’s the oldest?

Getting the fern seeds is also relatively easy, but it’s a little trickier to figure out which ones are the right ones. The good news is that if you gather all the fern seeds available from all three locations (Whisper Woods, Kamenny Gai, and Perodov Forest) and give them to Asalia, she figures it out somehow (a bug, but maybe a good bug in a game for once).

The correct seeds are from Kamenny Gai, which unlocks as you push the main quest forward and clear a few garrisons. If you want to go the “proper” route, visit the Lumberjack southeast of Kamenny Gai and bring him along to check tree trunks. But really — just collect them all and let Asalia sort it out.

They’ve reconciled, hooray!

Maya, Asalia’s partner, appears in Chapter 3, Week 4. By Week 6, the two should have reconciled. For the Fern Flower to work, Maya must be involved. Before handing over all the ingredients, check in with Asalia — she should mention Maya is helping her with the greenhouse.

If she doesn’t, wait. Without Maya’s involvement, the Fern Flower fails, and Eryk doesn’t wake up.

His demons.

Once you complete Chapter 6, Week 5, King Eryk should wake up. Continue the game until its conclusion in Week 8 and don’t skip the credits once they pop up. It’s a fairly short scene, but a goodie for those who have played Yes, Your Grace. Good luck unlocking the secret ending!
