How to unlock all endings in PARANORMASIGHT: The Mermaid’s Curse

If you’ve played PARANORMASIGHT, you’ll know it doesn’t settle for just one ending. Like its predecessor, PARANORMASIGHT: The Mermaid’s Curse features six different endings based on your choices.

Some unlock naturally. Others require very specific (and very meta) steps. However, this guide aims to help you through that.

Spoilers ahead!

Sad Sato.

In Sato Shiranami’s memories, complete the Shadow chapter to unlock this ending.

Head to the Bay and use your mirror to look at the rocks where the Stilltide Mirror is buried. After that, look to your right for a white figure to trigger the first ending.

Kikuko.

In Arnav (Avi) Barnum’s memories, you can unlock two endings from his Possessions chapter.

To unlock the second ending:

  • Speak to Kikuko Tsutsui at the Jetty.
  • Do not accept the mirror (or discard it if it’s already in your inventory).
  • Throw away Kippei Ikoma’s business card after Circe warns you about Kikuko’s curse stone.
  • Correctly identify the symbol on both the mirror and business card that fulfils the curse condition.

While this is supposed to be the second ending, it’s one of the later ones I actually unlocked due to how complicated it was to get here. After progressing, the Storyteller will hint at finding a “mermaid memory.”

This is meta — head to the Load screen and scroll to the bottom to find a murky memory.

Right at the bottom.

Next:

  • In Sato’s Claim chapter, convince Avi and Circe to give you the tamatebako by telling the truth.
  • Place the Mermaid Scale inside it at the Minakuchi Residence.
  • Check the Conversation Log for a hidden message from Sobae.
  • Return to the Title Screen and tap the mermaid to “call” her, following the instructions in the message. (May take a few tries, don’t get discouraged!)

When the Claim chapter replays, don’t give Sato the tamatebako to unlock this ending.

Yuck.

This ending is also a little tricky to get. As with Ending #2, you’ll need to head to Avi’s memory to play the Possessions chapter:

  • Refuse or discard the mirror.
  • Keep Ikoma’s business card.
  • Continue until you’re forced to curse Kikuko.

Follow the same tamatebako setup as above (or the game might’ve kept the same conditions loaded if you’ve done it previously) to trigger this ending.

Kippei Ikoma.

This is likely the second ending you’ll trigger in PARANORMASIGHT: The Mermaid’s Curse. In Sato’s Real Name chapter, confront Kippei Ikoma and enter:

Tairo no Tomoshige

Whether you choose Obey or Refuse, this ending will trigger.

Poor Sato.

This ending is buried under the Conclusion chapter in Yuza’s memories. This will likely unlock early on in your playthrough, but if you haven’t unlocked it, avoid obtaining the mermaid flesh. This unlocks Ending #5.

Yay a happy ending!

For the true ending, follow the steps for Ending #2 — but this time, ensure Sato receives the tamatebako.

This unlocks a new chapter under Yuza’s memories: An Eternal Conclusion.

And with that, you’ve unlocked all six endings in PARANORMASIGHT: The Mermaid’s Curse. Congratulations!
