If you’re an 80s or 90s kid, you certainly grew up in play centers like Wriggle It and Kids Space, a place of pure fun and excitement — in fact, I can still smell the rubber of those playgrounds. Finding Frankie takes you back to those golden hotdog-and-popcorn eating days, but with a nasty, gory twist.
Finding Frankie looks like the perfect mix of nostalgia and horror, as you receive a secret invitation from a Frankie’s branded cereal box. The invite is to participate against two other contestants in a challenging but light-hearted parkour game show.

But as the parkour and obstacle course progresses, we take a horrific turn into deadly territory when Frankie, Henry Hotline and the other characters take on an evil life of their own.
Adventuring through the challenging parkour levels and obstacle course looks to leave you striving for victory, as it’s life and death — you or them.
The world will no doubt lead us into a false sense of security with the bright colours and happy voice overs, this is a far cry from your local play centre.

As a horror gamer, Finding Frankie looks like a fun change from the regular line up of atmospheric rainy, dark hallways, forests and mansions we’re used to seeing and playing in.
The overstimulating set looks to really confuse the brain into thinking ‘I’m happy and safe!’ — when this isn’t the case at all.
With evil lurking, I have a feeling jump scares will be in full force with so many nooks and crannies for characters to hide in. The spooky and gory ‘friends’ like Frankie himself, will hopefully contribute to the ‘off’ environment as we stealth our way through this title.
Releasing digitally on consoles on April 15th, Finding Frankie seems to be Fall Guys meets Five Nights at Freddy’s — meets your worst gory nightmare. PC gamers can get their hands on it now via Steam.
