Cricket 24 has been unveiled and will release this June, in line with the upcoming Ashes series.
This will be the latest in Melbourne gaming studio Big Ant’s long-running line of cricket games following Cricket 22, and features more licensed content than ever before.

Cricket 24 will feature fifty genuine real-world stadiums and over 200 fully scanned players from countries such as Australia, England and New Zealand amongst others.
The very popular Indian market will also be represented for the first time.
Perhaps signaling a focus towards longevity as a live service model, Cricket 24 will include a new Pro Team mode.
Much like FIFA or Madden’s Ultimate Team modes, players will be able to recruit a broad collection of superstars and create their own world dominating outfit.
Combined with cross-platform play, this entry appears to be putting a greater emphasis on online play than we’ve seen from previous titles.
Other improvements include a more robust career mode, featuring immersive cutscenes and an authentic Ashes experience, as well as a rebuilt fielding system, allowing for greater responsiveness while you pull off your classic catches.
2023 is looking like a busy year for Melbourne developer Big Ant Studios. This is their fourth title scheduled for release this year along with their tennis game Tiebreak, Rugby 24 and AFL 23, which releases next Thursday.
Cricket 24 comes out in June for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, with a Switch release scheduled for November.
