City Tales – Medieval Era | Every Masterwork and How to Unlock Them

In City Tales – Medieval Era, as you steadily expand your little bustling medieval city, you’ll have the opportunity to unlock a number of unique buildings called “Masterworks.” These structures deliver massive city-wide buffs through influence areas (Faith, Health, Education, etc.), amongst other very helpful perks. You’ll need a good amount of prestige generated to build some of these.

Here’s every Masterwork in the game and how to unlock them.

1. Hilde’s Trade Post

You’ll meet Hilde early in the progression quest as your city starts taking shape. She’s eager to establish a trade agreement, which means constructing her dedicated Trade Post to get goods flowing. It is the first masterwork you’ll have, and is one of your first big economic unlocks.

Effect: Lets you buy and sell goods directly — albeit with wait times between trades.

You can trade up to eight goods at once, so make the most of it between wait times!

2. Mountalbian Castle & Citadel

You will unlock Mountalbian Castle early on through the progression quest, specifically completing the 12th milestone: “One Step at a Time.”
