You’ve just started exploring Izumi Settsu and have come across a very inviting looking Kofun named Makino Kurumazuka. How on earth do I open this thing!? I can hear you screaming.
It’s actually quite simple — and my advice is to simply walk away and come back later.
You’ll need to use Yasuke to open this one.

Once you’ve unlocked Yasuke as a playable character, return to the Makin Kurumazuka Kofun, pick up a big red explosive jar and place on next to the collapsed entrance down the staircase.
Then, simply shoot it — or take a swing at it if you’re brave enough.
