Abzan

Endures: Whenever another nontoken creature you control dies, creature endures X.
Put X +1/+1 counters on it or create a 2/2 white Spirit creature token.
Jeskai

Flurry: Whenever you case your second spell each turn, this creature gains double strike until end of turn.
Mardu

Mobilize X: Whenever this creature attacks, create X tapped and attacking 1/1 red Warrior creature tokens. Sacrifice them at the beginning of the next end step.
Sultai

Renew: Pay X mana. Exile this card from your graveyard: Put a flying counter, a deathtouch counter, and a lifelink counter on target creature. Activate only as a sorcery.
Temur

Harmonize: Pay X mana. You may cast this card from your graveyard for its harmoize cost. You may tap a creature you control to reduce that cost by X, where X is its power. Then exile this spell.

But what about the dragons?
This is Dragonstorm after all! Wizard’s haven’t left the Dragons out of the fun, with two dragon-specific mechanics added as part of the set: Omen and Behold.

Omen allows you to play a creature spell as an instant, for a reduced mana cost. You then draw three cards, then discard a card. Then shuffle this card into your library for future use!
Behold feels like something Smaug from The Hobbit would say, and that vibe fits the mechanic. When a creature enters, you may behold a Dragon. If you do, you create a Treasure token.
To behold a dragon, choose a Dragon you control or reveal a Dragon card from your hand.
I can’t wait to hear people exclaiming “Behold!” at the local game shop on release night.
What comes next?
There’s plenty more coming in Tarkir: Dragonstorm – including five (yes five) Commander decks, one for each clan. Better still, each deck comes with two possible Commanders: a clan member and a dragon – take your pick. We’ll share more details about the set closer to release!
Until then, enjoy some of the fantastic art created by Wizard of the Coast’s artists for this set!
