Announced during tinyBuild’s second annual Connect showcase, Hozy is a fresh title from newcomers Come On Studio — and it’s cozy with a capital “Z”. It’s fixer-upper sim meets interior design therapy, with zero timers, zero stress, and plenty of mess.
On the surface, Hozy taps into the same satisfying loop as games like Moving Out or Tools Up! — cleaning, unpacking, restoring order. But unlike those frantic, multiplayer chaos machines, Hozy dials it all the way down. There’s no timer. No escalating music. No leaderboard. Just you, a dusty room, some smooth jazz, and the quiet joy of making things nice again. The only pressure here is whatever you bring with you.

Get Cleaning
The playtest drops you into a derelict attic — peeling wallpaper, dusty windows, and plenty of clutter. Your job? Clean it up. Your other job? Make it beautiful.
Armed with a rubbish bin, a squeegee, a mop, and a paint roller, you’ll scrub, paint, and decorate your way to domestic bliss. The mechanics are simple — pick up, drop, rotate — and the physics engine is great. Move too fast with a stack of trash and you’ll drop it. Glide the roller too quickly and you’ll miss a spot. It’s tactile, it’s responsive, and it’s surprisingly satisfying.

Painting — a genuine nightmare in real life — is cathartic here. That is, until the game decides to finish the last 10% for you. A minor gripe in an otherwise buttery-smooth experience.
But when the space is clean, that’s when Hozy really shines.
Time to Deck It Out
It’s time to decorate, starting with unpacking the boxes.
As I write this, I have four unopened boxes behind me from a move 14 months ago. And yet here I am, gleefully unpacking virtual ones. Why? Because Hozy makes it feel good.
And honestly, why unpack your real-life boxes when you can do it virtually? No drama, no back pain.
The furniture for this room leans art deco meets Scandi chic, and while you don’t get to choose what’s in the boxes, you do get to decide where everything goes. Want to rotate a lamp 17 times until it’s perfectly aligned? Go for it. Want to unpack every box with no plan and immediately regret it? Been there.
I also enjoy that, somehow, a full-sized sofa fits into a suspiciously tiny box (Hermione’s handbag, anyone?).

It’s around this point you realise just how quietly beautiful Hozy is — rich textures, gorgeous lighting, and tiny environmental details that really pop.
Final Thoughts
Hozy is a soft, satisfying little escape. It’s not trying to be dramatic or deep — it just wants you to wipe down some windows, unpack some boxes, and maybe your soul while you’re at it. There’s no release date yet, but if you’re lucky (and quick), you can jump into the playtest and wishlist the game via Steam now.
It’s just one level for now, but it’s a strong start — and I’m curious to see where Come On Studio takes it.
