PlayStation has revealed the PlayStation Plus monthly games for August, offering games from a wide range of genres.
PGA Tour 2K23, Dreams and Death’s Door. All three games will be available for PlayStation Plus members of the Premium, Extra and Essential tiers; they’ll be available to add to your library come August 1st.
PGA Tour 2K23
I can’t say I’m a golf fan, but for those of you who are, the latest PGA Tour 2K23 will allow you to test your skills and become the champion of the FedExCup.
For the first time in the series, you can play as a female or a male pro golfer and enjoy the game both online and locally.

Dreams
Dreams is (or rather, was) a super fun and intriguing creation from Media Molecule where you can discover and play community-made games from all over the world, as well as create your own. It’s an encapsulating way to create your own video game without needing a history of game-design study behind you.
Unfortunately, the Media Molecule team announced that as of September 1st this year, they will be discontinuing live support for the game – so you can say goodbye to updates. You’ll still be able to make your own creations and play other people’s games, but it’s a strange addition to the PS Plus monthly lineup given this news.
Dreams is the type of game that lives and dies on its community support. Maybe if PlayStation had put it onto PS Plus a lot sooner, it would’ve had the user base to thrive.
Nonetheless, jump on in and see what crazy, fun and unique games people have made! My favourites are the oddly satisfying Crash Bandicoot fan games.
Death’s Door
Death’s Door is a game that’s long been on my radar. An isometric action-adventure game taking on an array of beasts and demigods, using melee weapons, arrows AND magic? Sign me up!

Watch your abilities upgrade and grow as you adventure through this thrilling world full of secrets. Taking inspiration from the likes of older Zelda and Dark Souls games, it’s a graphical treat for the eyes.
PlayStation Plus members will have until Monday, July 31st to add Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Alan Wake Remastered and Ending – Extincion is Forever to their library.
