There you are Pollywog!

Pollywog is Bufo’s missing tadpole, who decided to strike out on his own after an argument with Bufo. Totally understandable — generational differences and all that. Now Bufo’s missing him and asks you to help track him down.

Make an axe for Bufo.

Before you can search for Pollywog, Bufo will ask you to craft an axe for him. Once you’ve gathered the required materials and returned with the finished tool, he’ll reward you with a blueprint for a Granite Pickaxe.

If you’ve met Bufo the toad (or frog — still undecided), you’ll eventually get a quest from him about his lost tadpole, Pollywog.

This lets you break the large grey granite rocks scattered around the area — and you’ll need it for the next part.

Pollywog has a handy campfire to recover for a bit before you head back to Bufo.

Once you’ve got your Granite Pickaxe, you’re ready to find Pollywog.

Head south of Bufo’s location and use your pickaxe to break the granite rocks blocking a tree log tunnel. Pass through to head further south, then continue southeast into the next section.

Weave through the hollow log tunnels until you spot a campfire — and there’s Pollywog!

Winter Burrow is out now on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
